Due to the recent snow storms in the Northeast your SAT ticket delivery may be delayed. As a precaution please log in to your Collegeboard accounts and print your ticket. All tickets will be collected by your homeroom teachers on Tuesday February 11.

Interact is a chartered and national student organization associated with Rotary International that gives its members an opportunity to complete service projects, gain volunteer hours and develop leadership skills.

Dual Enrollment Opportunity

Are you a Senior or Junior interested in adding a Dual Enrollment class to your schedule next year? A limited number of seats are available in Introduction to Religion. If you want to add this course, contact Mrs. Bramlett at 671-5011 ext 229 or catherine.bramlett@sdhc.k12.fl.us. If you were on the waiting list for a Dual Enrollment Social Studies class next year, a place has been saved for you in this class.

INTRO TO RELIGION (REL2300) ½ Credit, grades 11-12 (Taught by Mr. Bunkley, Riverview Social StudiesTeacher, HCC Adjunct Professor) This is an introductory course which explores such topics as the nature of religion, features shared in world religions, differences among world religions, the relationship between belief and behavior, and methods and problems associated with classifying and studying religion. This course meets half of the Humanities requirement for the AA Degree at HCC.

When you take a Dual Enrollment class, you can earn college credits for free. Books and tuition are free, and you can attend these classes here at Riverview. To receive college credit for a Dual Enrollment class, you must have an A, B, or C as your final grade.

You must have a 3.0 unweighted GPA and College-ready test scores to take a Dual Enrollment class. The following scores are acceptable:
ACT Reading 18; English 17           
SAT Critical Reading 440
CPT Reading 83, Sentence Skills 83   
PERT, 104 Reading, 99 Writing
