When is the test? And who takes it?
The PSAT/NMSQT will be given on October 19th. All 10th and 11th grade students will take the PSAT/NMSQT.
What does NMSQT stand for?
What do I need to bring on test day?
Be sure to bring at least 2 sharpened #2 pencils with erasers (no mechanical pencils!) and a calculator. The approved calculator list on the Riverview High School website. You might want to bring a snack to eat during the scheduled breaks.
How long is the PSAT/NMSQT?
The test is about 3 and half hours long. Lunches will be provided after testing is over.

When and how will my student get their score?
Your student may access their score through their College Board account after December 12th. Check the Riverview High School website for updates.
How do I make a College Board Account?
Go to https://www.collegeboard.org/ and click “sign-up”. If you think you already have a College Board account, follow the steps to reset your username or password. If you are having trouble or find you have multiple accounts, call 866-433-7728 to reach customer service.
Is there a way for my student to study for the PSAT/NMSQT?
My student receives testing accommodations, will they have accommodations for the PSAT/NMSQT?
